About Anna Lux
Anna Lux Petro is a twenty-four-year-old poet and founder of BreastMilk Magazine.
Raised in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, she happily left the Midwest to earn a Bachelor's degree in Biology and Neuroscience from the University of Alabama. Anna Lux will begin a fully funded MFA in Poetry at the University of Alabama in Fall 2026. She currently works in behavioral health on the coast of North Carolina.
Anna Lux is a recovering romantic.
